Advice from someone who has assessed applications from the other side.
Koala Solutions is led by Raju KC, a migration agent registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) under MARN 1799073. Before entering private practice, he worked as an Immigration Officer with the Department of Home Affairs.
That background shapes how the practice works. Applications are read by decision makers under time pressure, against specific criteria, in a policy environment that shifts constantly. Knowing how the file is assessed is what determines which evidence goes in, how it is presented, and when the application is lodged.
In Australia, only registered migration agents and Australian legal practitioners may lawfully provide immigration assistance. Registration can be checked by anyone, at any time, on the public register — and we would rather you did.

These are the terms on which the practice works. They exist to protect the quality of the advice, and they apply to every matter.
Pre-assessment first
Every prospective client completes a structured pre-assessment before any consultation, so advice is accurate and mapped to the criteria.
Selective engagement
We accept matters only where a viable, legally sound pathway exists, and decline cases where the risk of refusal outweighs the prospect of success.
Considered, not rushed
Same-day consultations are not standard practice. Proper review before engagement protects the integrity of the advice we give.
Strategy before action
Applications are lodged only once strategy, timing and evidence align with the current policy environment.
Honest, not hopeful
We give realistic assessments, not marketing promises. If a pathway is weak we say so. If no pathway exists, we say that too.
Commitment is mutual
Engagement requires accurate information, responsive communication and realistic expectations. It is a partnership, not a transaction.
This is an indicative guide only. It is not immigration assistance and does not constitute advice about your individual circumstances.
Applicants, families and Australian employers.
We work with skilled applicants, partners and families, students, and businesses that need to sponsor staff. Our clients come from many countries, and the practice also serves the Nepali-speaking community in Sydney in their own language — the advice is identical, the explanation is simply clearer.
Every enquiry begins with a structured pre-assessment. Same-day consultations are not standard practice here: a proper review of your circumstances before engagement is what allows us to be accurate rather than optimistic.
The practice operates under the Code of Conduct for Registered Migration Agents, which governs fees, client money, conflicts, record keeping and the quality of advice. It is a legal obligation, not a marketing claim.

Start with an honest assessment.
Complete the pre-assessment and we'll review your circumstances against current criteria before we say a word about your prospects.
